Even though it is still cold outside, there are many fun activities to do near you! 360 KC has a long list of February events perfect for this month.

7000 Mile Rare Movement: Throughout the month of February, the P.K.U. Matters Society is focusing on helping patients obtain life-saving medication that they could not otherwise afford. As part of the team, P.K.U. Matters Society challenges you to join the rare disease community in running 7,000 miles between February 1 and February 28 in order to raise awareness and support for people living with rare diseases. Sweetheart Skate: If you do not have Valentine’s Day plans, then the Sweetheart Skate event at Line Creek Community Center is a good place to start! There is two-for-one admission and opportunities to donate food items to Harvesters for those in need.

Mardi Gras at Howl at the Moon: Celebrate Mardi Gras in Kansas City! Howl at the Moon will have live music, drink specials, beads and more to celebrate the holiday.

Tunes for TARA: Musicians Unite for Homeless Pets: TARA, a non-profit dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Greater Kansas City Area, is hosting an event to benefit homeless pets. The night will include musical entertainment, Boulevard beer, wine, hors d-oeuvres, a raffle and silent auction. Buy your tickets here.

2018 Kansas City Winter Tequila Festival: Get ready to taste a variety of tequilas at this fun-filled event with many tequila representatives showcasing their brands. The festival also includes food specials and giveaways!
